After installing Interbase on your server there are multiple licenses that need to be installled. One of these is the server license. If you install a multiple user license and the server and client onto your machine, you still need the server license to run interbase. Otherwise you will receive something similiar to " no database support" when you try to connect ot a server. The server license can be purchased seperately from other license.
