JBuilder 2007 Quick Installation Instructions

NB: It is advised that all other applications are closed before installing JBuilder 2007.

1. Insert the DVD disc into the DVD drive.
2. A JBuilder installation screen will appear.
3. Choose to install JBuilder 2007.
4. Click Next.
5. By Default, the installation will also install Interbase 2007 developer Edition and Jdatastore. Uncheck the options if these are not required.
6. Click on the Install button.
7. Click on the Next button.
8. Read and agree to the license agreement.
9. Click on the Next button.
10. By default the directory is <drive>:\JBuilder2007 � this can be changed by clicking on the Choose button and pointing to a directory for JBuilder to be installed into.
11. Click on the Next button.
12. (Optional) For JBuilder 2007 Enterprise, you may wish to install the ProjectAssist � this should only be done if you have Administrator rights.
13. The Application Servers screen appears.� This screen lists the runtime servers that are available for use in building web applicatiosn and web services. �They are not related to your ProjectAssist server installation.� Check any that you wish to install.� The default is to not install these servers.
14. Click on the Next button.
15. Select the required shortcut folder from the list or click on the Next button to accept the default location.
16. Review the installation options that have been chosen. �If the options are correct click on Install to begin the installation procedure.
17. When the Installation has completed, click on the Done button.
