Why does RAD Studio need space on the C:\ drive

When installing RAD Studio, a certain amount of disk space is expected to be available on the main Windows installation drive to allow installation of install cache files. If this drive does not contain enough space, it can affect the installation process.

It is possible to by pass this requirement by doing the following:

1. Select Start | My Computer and Right Click.

2. Choose Properties

3. From the Advanced tab, choose Environment Variables.

4. Under System Variables choose New

5. Enter the Value of ALLUSERSPROFILE

6. Enter the path of the new drive - for example: F:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data

7. Click OK
