Using InterBase with terminal services

While we do not officially support or test InterBase with terminal services, users have reported it works just fine if you are aware of a few small facts. Here are the facts users have brought to our attention:

1. Local Connections will fail. Remote connections (using TCP/IP or NetBui) work just fine.
2. If you start the server or guardian as a service, subsequent attempts to connect to a database will result in the error 'cannot attach to password database'. Starting the server or guardian as an application works just fine.
3. If you attempt to attach to a local server using IBConsole you will prompted with the message 'The InterBase server has not been started. Would you like to start it now?'. If you answer yes, the server will not start (because it requires a local connection).
